3. The Importer should also apply for plant import permit from the Ministry of Agriculture
NB:
Category A: Normal Consumer Consumption; The imported sugar will
be sold in Tanzania for direct consumption only
Category B: Industrial Sugar; This is special for industrial purposes only
Category C: Special Sugar; This is for special activity eg school supply,
military supply etc, it is not for sale but rather straight for consumption
by the targeted group
Colour in ICUMSA Units, Max 1300. Quality Conformance to TBS and
TFDA requirements is responsibility of importer.
